It’s that time again. Halloween season is here and you’ll find haunts and scares all throughout Central Florida. From theme park events to local home-grown attractions, there’s no shortages of haunted houses, haunted trails and parties.
August 30 – November 3, 2024 on Select Nights
As one of the largest Halloween events in Florida, Halloween Horror Nights is back for its 33rd year. This year, the event takes place for 48 nights all the way through November 3rd. This year, you’ll find 10 haunted houses, dedicated scare zones and Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus, an amazing show.
Tickets start at $82.99 and vary depending on the date. Add-on ticket options including Express Passes and VIP tours are also available
September 6 – November 2, 2024 on Select Nights
Howl-O-Scream Orlando is back with four new haunted houses and frights. Brace yourself for an even more chilling experience with more to SEA than years before- more screams, more terror, more haunts.
This year’s Howl-O-Scream features five haunted houses, seven scare zones and five themed bars. Tickets start at $45 and vary in price depending on the date.
In addition to Howl-O-Scream, SeaWorld Orlando also has a family-friendly event, Halloween Spooktacular which features trick-or-treat stations and and a Sesame Street Halloween parade.

Scream-A-Geddon is one of the largest and most terrifying Halloween events in Central Florida. Located in Dade City, you’ll find six attractions in one location including Breach, an interactive attraction, Zombie Paintball and Bonzo’s Beer Garden.

September 27 – October 31, 2024
This year you’ll find two new Halloween events at Leu Gardens.
Haunting Nights is an artful, elevated Halloween experience after the sun goes down for guests 13 and up with thrilling surprises throughout. Haunting Nights isn’t gory and bloody. Rather, you’ll encounter surprises along the journey that may cause your heart to race. It’s not a continual onslaught of fear, but there is no doubt you will encounter moments that will result in an elevated heart-rate.
Happy Frights is an all-ages, family-friendly trick-or-treat adventure through 13 immersive worlds.

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream returns to Tampa Bay in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more.
Horror-filled haunted houses are back with a vengeance. New and returning favorite houses await your demise, but the scares don’t stop there. Unspeakable horror lives in every dark corner of the park – there’s nowhere to hide. With frightful scare zones, roaming hoards and Florida’s wildest rides at night, screams await at every turn.
October 5 – October 27, 2024 on Select NIghts
Located at Astatula in Lake County, Tales of Terror is 18 + only highly intensive immersive experience that brings you face to face with your worst nightmares. See if you can escape the terrifying trail and scare zone filled with monsters waiting to add you to their collection of guts and gore. Enjoy spine chilling performances by Circus Inferno. Beat the heat and play with freaks and frights in the Spook N Splash select night party event. Don’t forget to sign your liability waiver and come see all that that goes bump in the night and more.
August 9 – October 31, 2024 on Select Nights
Located in Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party brings spooky fun to Disney. You can experience a special Halloween-themed fireworks show, Boo-to-You Parade, themed character appearances, the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus and a trick-or-treat fun.
September 27 – November 2, 2024 on Select Nights
Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a miniature horror theme park in Plant City, Florida. The attraction features three haunted trails, escape games, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing and haunted hayrides.
October 4 – November 2, 2024 on Select NIghts
Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo has unveiled a thrilling new event for this Halloween season! The Haunting of River Ranch takes guests on new experiences and calls upon the spirits for a witching good time. The Curse of Kicco the Clown continues with a new twist this year, adding even more fright to the festivities. Brave the Haunted Stables before your ride begins and experience a haunted hayride that uncovers a bone-chilling tale never-before-heard at the ranch.

One of the best spooky season and longest running scare experiences in Central Florida is a horrifying journey into A Petrified Forest! Located in Altamonte Springs, this terrifying independent outdoor scare trail is legendary around these parts, and this year features three new trails and more!
A Petrified Forest is a home grown community attraction, offering three intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres.
The trails are long, with uniquely themed rooms and awesome scares around every turn. You’ll also find music, food concessions, local art vendors, laser tag, backstage tours, and so much more.
September 13 – October 27, 2024 on Select Nights
Ready your souls for monstrous family fun as Brick-or-Treat presents Monster Party at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort this Halloween season! Swoop into the spellbinding spirit with ghoul-tastic shows and experiences, tidal waves of candy, wickedly delicious treats, and exclusive LEGO® characters!
This year’s Brick-O-Treat features an all new aerial show, Monster Skytacular features dazzling drones, flashes of fireworks and bumpin’ beats.
September 28 – November 2, 2024 on Select Nights
Dr. Grimley’s Haunted Trail is located at Sunsational Farms in Umatilla. This year you’ll find two themed trails where they’ll prey upon your deepest phobias with horrific scares designed to unsettle and disorient. From 8 pm until 10 pm each night, both trails will terrify your uneasy soul. But after 10 pm, they turn off the lights and amp up the scares for those brave enough to enter the trails for the “Lights Out” experience with nothing but a tiny hand-held light (provided) to illuminate your way (and any horror that may cross your path…)
