Aren’t we lucky to have one of the most unique dining and entertainment venues right in here in Orlando!? Boxi Park debuted in 2019 in Lake Nona and has since become one of the hottest local hangouts in Orlando. With live music, delicious local food, multiple bars, kid’s playground, a dog park, and volleyball, Boxi Park is our go-to spot for a chill Friday evening or Sunday Funday with a group of friends.
Food
Ever been served a lobster roll or ice cream straight out of a shipping container? This is one of the things that makes Boxi Park unlike any other venue. Unlike standard food trucks, the outdoor counter-service restaurants are housed in shipping containers. Don’t let it deter you! You can find restaurants such as Claw & Order, which serves up delicious lobster rolls or Canonita Street Taqueria where you can find street tacos, ceviche, and guacamole. The variety of restaurants and food items makes Boxi Park a great option for families or groups.
Drinks
There is nothing like sitting back with a cocktail and listening to live music. Boxi Park makes this easy to do with several bars to choose from. Bar Nona is located right in the middle and serves beer, kegged cocktails, wine, and premium liquors. If you are looking to try the local brew, Hops and Vine serves local craft beer from Park Pizza & Brewing, which is located across the street. At La Cajita, you can find margaritas and sangrias in flavors such as Spicy Cilantro Jalapeno and Tropical Passion.
Activities
If sitting back and taking it easy isn’t your thing, there are several activities available. Adult Volleyball Leagues meet on Thursday evenings, and the volleyball court is available for open play during other times. Pooches are welcome at Boxi Park, and there is even a fenced-in dog park. Kids can play at the recently expanded playground, and you will find that games such as cornhole and Jenga are readily available.
Live Music
In the center of Boxi Park is the large canopied amphitheater where you will find live music on Thursday through Sunday (days that Boxi Park is open). The lineup varies, but you will find a wide variety of music from acoustic to R&B to country.
Hours & Location
Boxi Park opens Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 AM. It is located at the Lake Nona Town Center at 6877 Tavistock Lakes Blvd., Orlando, FL 32827. Lake Nona is in southeast Orlando close to Orlando International Airport. There is a convenient and free parking garage located across the street.
