15 Budget Dining Options at Disney Springs

by lifeinorlando

Most people would never consider using Disney and budget-friendly in the same sentence, BUT there are actually many lower cost and tasty options at Disney Springs. With everything from pizza to barbecue, you will find an array of restaurants, food trucks, and kiosks sprinkled around the area that won’t break your bank. There are even several higher-priced sit-down restaurants that offer quick-service or walk-up windows where you can sample the cuisine at a fraction of the costs. Here are our picks for the best budget-friendly and delicious Disney Springs eateries.

Pizza Ponte

Pizza Ponte may be considered quick service, but it has been our go to for late-night dinner on many occasions. Multiple styles of pizza are offered and the slices are quite large. You will also find a selection of salads, sandwiches and desserts. Pizza Ponte is tucked under the Italian eatery Mario & Enzo’s and we would easily consider it as one of the tastiest and best values at Disney Springs.

Morimoto Street Food

Morimoto Street Food is a great option for those who want to give the Iron Chef a try without paying the exorbitant prices in the main sit-down restaurant. At this walk-up counter you will find a small selection of ramen, sushi rolls and rice bowls. Our top choice is the spare ribs which are so tender and flavorful that they fall off the bone. They can easily be considered one of the most underrated food items at Disney Springs

Chicken Guy!

Guy Fieri’s quick service chicken restaurant is known just as much for the multitude of available sauces as it is for the chicken. The menu includes sandwiches, salads and chicken tenders and over 20 different dipping sauces.

Earl of Sandwich

Other restaurants have come and gone, but Earl of Sandwich remains a Disney Springs staple and crowd favorite.  Here you will find a huge selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads, mostly under $10.00. If you’re around during the holidays, don’t miss the Holiday Turkey sandwich a try. Earl of Sandwich is also a great quick-service breakfast option.

D-Luxe Burger

The menu at D-Luxe Burger may be small, but the burgers are solid. This is a great option for families looking for a substantial amount of food at a great value. Have a sweet tooth? Don’t miss the delicious gelato shakes.

Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza

This well-known pizza chain is a great option where you can grab a personal pizza for around $11.00.  Blaze is great for families with picky eaters since everyone can customize and build their own from an array of toppings.

Food Trucks

Looking for something quick to eat on the go? Food Trucks offer a great variety at very reasonable prices. The options rotate, but there are typically three to choose from that range from Chicken and Waffles, Street Tacos, and our favorite, Mac and Cheese.

House of Blues – The Smokehouse

The Smokehouse is a walk-up counter located in front of the House of Blues restaurant and concert hall. You will likely smell it before you see it and will find everything from reasonably priced Pulled Pork Sandwich, Nachos with Beef Brisket, and Smoked Turkey Leg. If you time it right, you can enjoy your barbecue while listening to live music outside of the House of Blues.

Cookes of Dublin

As one of the original Disney Springs staples, the Cookes of Dublin is the quick service restaurant within the ever-popular Irish Pub, Raglan Road. Here you can grab fish and chips for around $15 ( a fraction of the costs indoors at Raglan Road) and snag a seat at an outside table where you can often catch live Irish music in the evenings. Cookes of Dublin also offers burgers and chicken options.

B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.

Sometimes you want a good hot dog…or an italian sausage or bratwurst on pretzel bun! B.B. Wolf’s serves up classic and unique hot dogs and sausages in a quick-service kiosk. With options ranging from $11.50 – $14.00, B.B. Wolf’s is a great reasonably priced but filling alternative.

The Polite Pig

A sister restaurant to The Ravenous Pig and Cask and Larder, both local Orlando favorites, The Polite Pig offers modern barbecue with Florida-infused flavors. The food quality is second-to-none, and although the entrees are a little pricey, the sandwiches are reasonably priced and well worth a stop. Don’t forget the huge menu of sides, including the delicious brussel sprouts and grilled street corn. The Polite Pig is one of the newest Disney Springs restaurants and one of our top picks!

The Daily Poutine

This quick-service kiosk serves multiple varieties of the beloved poutine. Eat alone for a filling snack or combine this with a quick grab from one of the Disney food trucks, and you will have a solid meal.

Pepe by Jose Andres

Jaleo, one of the newest Disney Springs, is hip and cool but also very expensive. If you want to give the famed chef, Jose Andres, a try without breaking the bank give Pepe a try. This quick-service restaurant features an array of unique pressed sandwiches including Flat Iron Steak or Serrano Ham. Some of the sandwiches are pricey (around $18.00 for most expensive), but they are still a fraction of the cost of what you will find in the full sit-down restaurant, Jaleo. This quick-service restaurant can be easy to miss but is located directly in front of Jaleo.

Yesake

Featuring build-your-own poke bowls, the Yesake kiosk is a great addition to Disney Springs. You can grab most bowls for under $10.00, and if you’re looking for a unique cocktail, don’t miss the Coconut Mango or Strawberry Sour Freeze.

4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck

It’s hard to get more local than 4 Rivers, and we love that the Orlando-based BBQ joint has taken a Latin take at Disney Springs. A Burrito Bowl, Quesadilla, and the unique Taco Cone fill the menu at this food truck located outside the World of Disney store.
